A great beginner trek to introduce yourself to the mighty Himalayas, the trek starts from the village of Hampta near Manali and ends in the wilderness of Chatru on the banks of Chandra River. The trek goes over varied landscape of Pine forests, lush green meadows, upper Himalayan valleys and descend into the rock strewn landscape of Chatru. After this a visit to the emerald colored Chandratal Lake will be a great bonus and a treat to the eyes of any Nature Lover.
Day 1: Manali to Jobra to Chika (3170m)
Day 2: Chhika to Balu ka ghera (3785m)
Day 3: Balu ka ghera to Shea Goru (3775m) via Hampta Pass (4280m)
Day 4: Shea Goru to Chatru (3300m) – Chandratal Visit
Day 5: Chatru to Manali
